Some great offshore resorts here in our area, and we're privileged to be able to access 3 of them, and the 3 nicest ones. Because we can't predict what you would want to eat or drink we will take you there and host you while you patronize the island bar and restaurant, each island has a full service bar and you can choose whichever you want to have lunch at. Our itinerary usually takes us to the furtherest one first, Ranguana (like and hour away from Placencia) , then Ray Caye (like half hour away from Ranguana) and then King Lewey's (like half hour away from Ray caye) then home is like half hour away from King Lewey's.

Whale Shark Snorkeling
The huge but majestic whale shark frequents this area in March, April, May and June of each year, to feed on fish spawn in the Gladden spit area
Gladden is an area on the reef called the elbow, where the reef take a turn inward, it is also the furthest point on the reef from the Mainland. Here the at least 20 species gather to spawn, but most notable in this time is the mutton and cubera snappers, the spawn (fish eggs) from these are plentiful and the whale shark love it and gather yearly to feast. We don't always get to see them but when we do it's always breathtakingly amazing.
Exotic Scuba Diving
There are some well known dive sites around Placencia on the barrier reef itself, the best to us is "Pompion wall" local name (Pumpkin wall) and "North wall" along with other like "white hole" "shark reef" "turtle reef" "pompion cannons" "Ranguana cannons" "Foxx hole" and a few more. Choose to do 1, 2, or 3 dives and let us know we'll plan and cater it specifically to you.
Discover Scuba Diving (No Certification required)
Curious about scuba diving? not interested in getting certified right away? Wanna try it out? A Discover Scuba diving course is perfect for you. Full out some paperwork, breeze basic and quick dive theory, answer some questions, jump in shallow water to practice what you learn and explore the underwater world up to 40ft deep under the care of your dive instructor. Monkey River Wildlife Adventure
This neat little boat tour is a great way to get your dose of wildlife.
Start with a 40 minute boat ride through the mangrove tunnels to monkey river village, we pick up a local guide here (they know the river like the back of their hands) from there we cruise up river checking out the varying wildlife, which often includes, Fresh water Turtles, iguanas, various species of birds, occasionally a jaguar crosses the river, crocodiles sunbathe on the river banks, howler monkeys howling in the distance or sometimes even drinking water from the river banks as well as many more critters and creatures to see. Once by the trails, you get to enjoy a jungle hike (optional) usually you'd get a closer look at the howler monkeys on this hike but also the local guide will point out other creatures and plants of interest with some fun and interesting facts about them. Once done head back to the village for a lunch then while heading back home after passing through the mangrove tunnels make a stop to do some manatee watching as we sit in the boat drifting waiting for them to shyly breach the water surface to take a breath before hurriedly going back down to feed on the yummy seagrass they love soooo much
