Snorkel with the Turtles at the Silk  Cayes 

There are 3 tiny islands almost on top of the Belize Barrier reef, they are called the Silk Cayes or Queen Cayes and they are apart of the Gladden Spit Silk Cayes Marine Reserve. These islands offer great snorkeling of the 3 one is reserved for nesting birds knew is almost completely eroded away. The last one offers us a great platform for our snorkeling adventure, enjoy a nice snorkel around the southern most Silk Caye which lasts like an hour then have some snacks as we move over to Turtle Alley where we would snorkel again but this time with some huge Loggerhead Turtles, Nurse Sharks, Southern Stingrays Caribbean Rough Tail Stingrays, Eagle Rays as well as other critters. These animals hang around the area waiting to snack on the scraps thrown in the water by fishermen cleaning their catch. After this depending on time we either cruise back enjoying Rum punch or stop at an island resort for a few minutes until it's time to get back to meet our ferry.
